April Anderson, MA, CCC-SLP, IBCLC is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, and Pediatric Feeding Specialist.
April has worked with infants and children of all ages both at home and in the clinic with feeding and swallowing issues such as accepting different textures, transitioning to solids, oral motor difficulties, and children diagnosed with tongue ties, as well as infants with special needs like cleft palate, feeding tubes, autism, and children with Down syndrome.
She has been published in the Washington Parent magazine and written for the American Speech Language Hearing Association’s (ASHA) Leader magazine and blog. She is a previous ASHA Conference presenter, has self-study courses with Talk Tools, and has been invited as a guest lecturer at area universities.
